First of all, THANK YOU to the exhibitor and their parents for donating their Steer to the Harris County Fair and Rodeo! For your generosity, we will be providing you 10% of the proceeds raised.
We will be raffling the processed steer! Chances to win are sold below for $50/each. We will be selling "tickets" through November 19th at 11:50 pm and will hold the raffle "drawing" on November 20th at 7:00 pm. When you enter the drawing by purchasing a chance/"ticket" online, the online system generates a spreadsheet for each quantity purchased. Your names will be added to a random drawing app.
1st person selected will win 1/2 of the beef, 2nd and 3rd selected name will win 1/4 of the beef.
So how much meat is that??
The steer was 1295 lbs and after processing it is approximately average 62% yield. So..1st will be approximately 400 +/- 50 lbs, 2nd and 3rd - 200 lbs (approx.) of beef!
