A little about the contest

This is a Pageant done the Stock Show way! It isn't about who is the prettiest dressed or has the sassy walk. It is about who (guys and gals) that represents the stock show life and can advocate for the Harris County Fair with the most dignity and determination. It is a contest to select the Fair Royalty representing the youth of the Harris County Fair and Rodeo! Not only will the winners attend the Harris County Fair and Rodeo at the Fair but they will have the opportunity to represent the Fair throughout their reign in other public events. We expect to be promoting the Fair throughout the year with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Parades in Houston, news stations, Make A Wish foundation, and other fund raisers.

Age divisions are listed below and contestants can also enter other categories including: Best Smile, Best Hair, Best Outfit, Best Resume (Highschool), Best Photography and Top Hand (most sponsored contestant). Be sure to check out the rules to learn more! King, Queen, and Top Hand (Top Hand depending on the funds raised) are eligible for scholarships!

Contest Location is JACINTO CITY TOWN CENTER, 1025 Oats Road, Jacinto City
Entry Fee: $30 by September 1st at 11:55 pm
Late Entry Fee: $60 by September 6, 2024 at 11:55 pm
Entry Requirement: Minimum $100 Sponsor due September 13th.
NOTE - NEW - No payments received the day of Contest.
Open to all Harris County 4-H and FFA students that met the eligibility requirements.

Pageant & Royalty Entry Form

Please fill out the following form in its entirety. Forms must be completed by the Exhibitor and/or their Parent/Guardian. Payment is due upon submitting the entry form. The entry form will ask for you to upload/attach proof of grade within a Harris County School. If not attending Harris County School, we will check membership in a Harris County 4-H program. Proof can be a scanned document or clear photo.

Please make sure to review the Pageant and Royalty Rules and Handbook posted online on our website. Any changes in schedule or information will be posted on the website. Please remember to:

Have a Minimum of one Sponsor for $100 (Checks can be made to Harris County Fair and Rodeo Association) received by Sept. 12, 2024 in the mail or payment submitted online by September 13, 2024 at 11:55pm. The Top Hand award will be awarded to the contestant with the most sponsorships. Please remember you can sell Buckles, Platinum, Silver, Gold or Bronze packages as your sponsorship.
Bring stamped and addressed Thank You Notes completed for the Sponsor/s.
Proof of grade and membership (residency) in Harris County School and FFA or Harris County 4-H as back up.
